hi, and welcome!

"You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring the act of photography in all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved."
Ansel Adams

Why the name "Little Lime Tree"?

Alexa, play "The Lime Tree" by Trevor Hall.

This is my sunny day song and lends to my photography style - colorful, bright, energetic, and captivating.

I graduated with a Business Management degree from Michigan State University, where I also met my cute (& so so kind) Canadian husband - who was playing hockey at MSU He pursued his hockey dreams which in turn took us all over the US first, and then overseas for 10+ years. We lived in Germany, and South Korea the longest - but we definitely caught the travel bug, and tried to cross off as many new places as we could while we had the chance being so close to so many pretty incredible European and Asian countries!

I was teaching ESL, as well as started studying photography and created my Little Lime Tree in 2012 while we were living in Anyang, South Korea. This became my creative outlet and a way for me to connect with more people while living abroad. It also allowed me to take incredible keepsake photos of my own children along our journey. I had the chance to really perfect my craft enjoying beautiful ancient castles and gardens for location choices, and to this day I still miss the South Korean spring cherry blossom season, meeting clients as the flowers were blooming brought us all so many smiles - it was the BEST!

We moved back to Michigan in 2018, where we partnered with family to open an autism therapy center. Here, I began taking photos of children with autism and special needs. I loved the children and families so much that I interacted with during this time and this experience holds a special place in my heart.

Now we find ourselves nestled in the Rocky Mountains, living in Basalt and absolutely loving the Colorado lifestyle and all that the Roaring Fork Valley has to offer.

I also love to hike, so if you've ever wanted an adventure photographer to capture some of these amazing moments out here, I am all in.

For those who have included me in your journey, it has been an honor to watch your lives grow and flourish throughout the years. It's priceless to share in these memories with you.

I am so grateful to all of my clients for allowing me to pursue my passion as my career
